Owner and main guide Mark Underwood has a long history as a whitewater rafting guide in the Pacific Northwest, running of the wildest commercially run rivers in the world and with an impeccable safety record.
He first guided at the age of 18 when he traveled from Indiana to Washington state for a summer job while studying mechanical engineering, and remained mostly a weekend guide while pursuing his career as a machinist and manufacturing engineer.
After 30 years in the industry, he decided to make a career out of his passion for paddle sports. He has done many multi-day excursions on the Northwest, Alaska and the Grand Canyon.
Paddling Florida waters for a few years now, Mark is well-versed in local paddling adventures and wildlife. His enthusiasm for outdoor activities and water sports is never ending – bicycling, motorcycling, snorkeling, hiking, skiing and, of course, padding.
You can be assured that you are in good hands with Mark, who has been trained in advanced first aid, CPR and swift-water rescue.

Starting as a young kid, I knew I wanted to do something different. Photography was my creative outlet starting in High School. Different because I was raised in a small farming community in Arkansas. After finishing college, I decided to follow this dream full time. Having worked in advertising, high fashion and multiple other fields of photography, I realized that I most enjoyed working with people. Also having a love of the beach, the two went together like peanut butter and jelly.  My wife and I moved to the Emerald Coast in 2005 and it has been great.
