Starting as a young kid, I knew I wanted to do something different. Photography was my creative outlet starting in High School. Different because I was raised in a small farming community in Arkansas. After finishing college, I decided to follow this dream full time. Having worked in advertising, high fashion and multiple other fields of photography, I realized that I most enjoyed working with people. Also having a love of the beach, the two went together like peanut butter and jelly.  My wife and I moved to the Emerald Coast in 2005 and it has been great. We have been blessed to have so many great friends and clients surrounding us.  John Hollan Photography is growing yearly and in 2008 joined The Artists at Gulf Place. A great community of talented local artists located at the corner of Hwy 393 and beautiful 30A!!!.
