Since 1967, Capt. Anderson's has innovated many of the Gulf Coast's classic dishes and has won the loyalty of millions of customers and friends. It is a local tradition to dine early at Capt. Anderson's Restaurant in Panama City Beach and watch the fishing fleets unload their catch.
Capt. Anderson's restaurant is one of those rare "family" restaurants that not only survives but strengthens and improves through the years. The landmark waterfront restaurant has witnessed remarkable growth without loss of quality. The restaurant has grown to 725 seats and, six nights a week, serves over 250,000 guests during its 8-month season.
Founders, Jimmy and Johnny Patronis set high standards of hard work and consistency for the younger Patronis generations, and they still pull their shifts at the busy restaurant, stopping by to welcome old friends and loyal customers… occasionally bussing a table or taking a special order. Their passion for the business is undoubtedly the root of Capt. Anderson’s success.
They were voted #1 Seafood Restaurant by Southern Living readers every year from 1996 to 2006, and were ranked among America's Top Fifty restaurants by Restaurants & Institutions.
They are the recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence and we were inducted into Florida Trend’s Restaurant Hall of Fame in 2005.
Each year since 1977, Florida Trend magazine has bestowed Golden Spoon awards to Sunshine State restaurants that offer diners the very best in food, service and décor.

Capt. Anderson Deep Sea Fishing
Whether you are a novice or an experienced angler, you’re sure to enjoy a fishing trip aboard one of our large comfortable head boats! At Capt. Anderson’s Marina, we provide deep sea fishing excursions at various times of the day so you can choose what best fits your schedule. The Capt. Anderson is a 75’ aluminum hull “head boat”. Enjoy hot breakfast, lunch and beverages from the galley in the climate-controlled main deck with tables and benches. Relax in a lounge chair on the upper deck or grab a seat on the ample benches around the cabin. In addition to the daily trips, call the ticket office for the schedule of 2-day trips, 25-hour trips, and one and two day fishing charters for parties of 30 or more. All deep-sea fishing prices include bait, tackle, rod, reel, license and tax. Clean and get your catch ready for travel at the fish market located at the dock. Call for reservations or book online.
